[Pairing Guide] Sony Voice Remotes (all models) - Reset and Pairing Instructions

NOTE: If the remote has been paired via Bluetooth with a TV before, it will not work with any other TV until it is reset.
The following instructions apply to almost all Sony smart remotes with the voice function.
Resetting the remote to IR mode
- Unplug your TV from the power source.
- Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN and VOICE keys at the same time for a few seconds. The indicator light will blink.
- Plug your TV back in, and your remote should work using infrared (IR).
Note: The voice feature is not active. Follow the instructions below to pair your remote via Bluetooth.
To connect your remote control via Bluetooth, follow these steps:
After resetting the remote (instructions above), follow the below steps:
- Click on the gear icon at the top of the Home menu.
- Scroll down to "Remotes and Accessories."
- Click on "Remote Control."
- Select "Connect via Bluetooth."
- Click on "Connect a new remote."
- Follow the onscreen prompts.
- Press and hold the "VOLUME DOWN" and "Microphone" keys for three seconds.
Your remote should now be paired via Bluetooth.
