Thank you for purchasing the Anderic DC1 remote control and/or the DC8 ceiling fan receiver. To go to the product pages, click the links below:
Battery Installation
Remove the battery cover from the remote control transmitter and install batteries. Replace the cover.
Note: Use two 1.5V/AAA batteries (included).
Note: If not used for an extended time, remove the battery to prevent damage to the remote transmitter, and store the remote transmitter away from excess heat or humidity.

Dimming / Non-dimming Setting
The “DIM” selection is the light dimmable selection; the light will cycle from bright to dim to bright until the button is released. The “ON” selection is only the light ON/OFF (non-dimming function). Light will maintain the last setting if turned off.
Note: The remote control is preset with light dimming function enabled at the factory.
Note: Ensure electricity is turned off before installing the receiver (Refer to the ceiling fan instructions).
Universal Mode and Learning Mode
There is a “Universal Mode” and “Learning Mode” with the remote control. When selecting “Universal Mode,” simply place the dip (code) switch at the UPPER position (COMMON CODE). Your fan remote control is ready to use.
Note: If using universal mode, your fan can be controlled with other remote transmitters in the same setting.
To control the fan with a specific remote transmitter, choose “Learning Mode” by placing the dip (code) switch at the LOWER position (L. CODE) and then select the function setting as below.
Learn function setting: Restore the power source to your fan, press and hold the “LEARN” button for at least 3 seconds. You must press the “LEARN” button within 60 seconds of restoring power to the fan.
Note: Power must be off for at least 10 seconds, then turn the power back on for the remote control learn function setting.
Note: If the fan is installed with a light, the light will blink two times. The remote control setting process is complete, and your fan is ready. For fans without light, check operation using a remote transmitter.
Note: To control multiple fans, ensure the dip switches are set at the same setting. A fan can be controlled by two transmitters maximum.

Receiver Protective Functions
Lock protection - The DC motor has a built-in safety feature against blade or motor obstruction during operation. If something obstructs the fan blades or motor, the motor will try to run five times and then stop the process after about 60 seconds of interruption. Please remove obstacles and reset. To reset, turn the fan off with a remote transmitter and then turn the fan on. Or you may turn the power off for 15 seconds. Then turn the power back on, and
then turn the fan on.
Overload protection (current limit) - The device limits the maximum current output from the receiver/drive when the fan or light load is increased abnormally. The fan will shut off if the fan input power exceeds the input power ratings.
Key Descriptions
Fan speeds: 1,2,3,4,5,6 key - Adjusts fan speeds, the 1 key being the lowest speed and the 6 key being the fastest speed.
Power key: Turns fans speed to off
Forward/Reverse key: Indicated by the two arrows. This key reverses the rotation of the fan. Press once to change the direction of the fan rotation. The fan must be running to reverse.
(Note: It can take a few seconds to change direction once the key is pressed.)
Light key: Press this button to turn the light on or off. Hold down the button to dim the light (Setting at “DIM” position), and the light will cycle from bright to dim to bright until the button is released.
Note: This remote control has an auto-resume function. The fan and light will maintain the
last setting if power is cycled.

Wall Mount Installation
Install the remote control’s wall mount cradle with the two screws provided.

THIS DEVICE COMPLIES WITH PART 15 OF THE FCC RULES OPERATION IS SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING TWO CONDITIONS. (1) THIS DEVICE MAY NOT CAUSE HARMFUL INTERFERENCE, AND (2) THIS DEVICE MUST ACCEPT ANY INTERFERENCE RECEIVED, INCLUDING INTERFERENCE THAT MAY CAUSE UNDESIRED OPERATION.
Notes
- When powering on after installation, the fan may start automatically due to factory preset settings.
- If the fan or light isn’t working, reset power (turn the power off for at least 10 seconds and then turn the power back on) and redo the learn function setting.
- If there are multiple fans in the same room, please make sure the power supply for the setting fan is independent of the other fans.
- When turning the fan on or operating the forward/reverse function, it is normal for the fan to rotate and run in both directions for approximately 1 minute and then stop.
Installing the DC8 Receiver
DC8 Specifications:
Input: 120VAC 60Hz power supply only.
Output: 40W (Maximum) for motor. 60W (Maximum) for Light (LED)
Operating Range: Approximately 10 meters
WARNING: Do not use a wall-dimmer switch to control the fan speed; this will cause damage to the fan. Do not use a full-range dimmer switch to control the fan speed to reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock.

- Switch the power off to the fan using the circuit breaker before you begin installing the fan.
- Make wiring connections as indicated in Fig. 1. If installing more than one fan, refer to the last page for special considerations.
- Restore power to the fan.
- Refer to the Universal Mode and Learning Mode section above for pairing the remote control with the receiver.
Note: After the AC power is on, do not press any other button on the transmitter before the “learn” key is pressed. Doing so will cause the pairing process to fail.
After completing the steps above, you should be able to operate the ceiling fan and light. If the fan is not responding to the transmitter, please turn the power off to the receiver and repeat the pairing process.
Multiple Fans - Special Considerations
This remote control operates one fan from one remote control. When installing multiple fans that use the pairing procedure on the same circuit breaker, they must be wired up and paired individually. Failure to do so will result in the fans responding to only the most recent remote transmitter.
Turn off the power at the breaker. Wire up the first fan and leave the second fan unwired. Turn on the power at the breaker. Press and hold the Learn button on the first fan’s remote control.

Turn off the power at the breaker. Wire up the second fan and unwire the first fan. Turn on the power at the breaker. Press and hold the Learn button on the second fan’s transmitter.

If there are more fans, repeat the same procedure for all the fans.
