The Anderic RRTX015 ceiling fan remote control is for use with three-speed ceiling fans. This remote is not universal and can only pair to supported ceiling fans that require the A25-TX015 remote control. The Anderic RRTX015 remote control allows easy learning on your existing ceiling fan and supports dimmable and non-dimmable light bulbs. The RRTX015 features also include adjusting the ceiling fan's speeds, light dimming, light delay-off, and fan forward and reverse.
WARNING: Please confirm your original remote reads A25-TX015, this remote does not replace any "KUJCE..." or "TR" models. Check the FCC ID number on the back of your original remote.
Pairing Instructions
- Install a 12V battery (not included) into the transmitter, matching polarity.
- Cycle the power to the fan using either the wall switch or the circuit breaker box, and within 30 seconds of restoring the power to the fan,
- Press and hold the "HI" and "LOW" buttons for 5 seconds, then
- Tap the "LEARN" key on the back of the transmitter.
Indication of successful pairing: the fan will turn to LOW speed, and incandescent/CFL is OFF.
If the fan does not respond, try pressing the keys on the remote to see if it will operate. If not, try repeating the steps above.
Operating the remote (Figure 1 & 2)
See the below key function descriptions. Please reference the images below.
- ①②③: Used for toggling the fan speeds; HIGH /MEDIUM /LOW speed.
- ④: FAN/OFF: Used to turn the fan off.
- ⑤: LIGHT DELAY OFF: Pressing this enters the light delay-off mode; press the Light On/Off key to exit.
- ⑥: LIGHT ON/OFF/DIMMING:
- Press and release immediately to turn ON/OFF the light.
- Press and hold to achieve the dimming function.
- ⑦: Season slide switch
Slide the switch depending on the direction you wish the air to flow. Note: Wait for the fan to stop before reversing the switch. - In warmer weather, counterclockwise rotation creates a downward airflow, which cools the air—slide switch to the left, indicated by the ↓↓↓ icon.
- In cooler weather, clockwise rotation of hot air from the ceiling into the room. Slide the switch right, indicated by the ↰↑↱ icon.
- ⑧: D/CFL SWITCH
Slide the switch on the back of the transmitter depending on the light bulbs installed. You have the option of dimmable or non-dimmable light bulbs: - For Dimmable bulbs, such as dimmable LED and Incandescent:
- Set the switch to the left, labeled with the "D" marking.
- For non-dimmable bulbs, such as CFL bulbs:
- Set the switch to the right, labeled with the "CFL" marking - this will disable the remote from dimming capabilities.
- ⑨: LEARN key: This key is used when pairing the remote.
Installing the wall mount bracket
Find a convenient mounting location. Use two screws to install the wall mount bracket. (See Fig.3)
