Battery

This remote requires one 12-volt battery to be installed and sold separately. Please make sure polarities match according to the diagram located inside the battery compartment (See Figure 2 image below).

Warnings

  • Please make sure your original remote reads "A25-TX00I," "TR258A," or "KUJCE10512" exactly. If not, this remote will not work for you.
  • This remote will work for the KUJCE10512 and A25-TX00i remotes that look the same at 304mhz frequency.
  • You cannot program two remotes to the same receiver/fan, as these fans don't have that function.
  • If you believe the receiver has broken inside your fan, you will want to buy our replacement KIT (63T-AC83T-KIT Universal 3-Speed with Timer for LED kit).

Pairing Instructions

  1. Turn the fan's power off with a wall switch or circuit breaker.
  2. Return power to the fan, and within 30 seconds,
  3. Press the LEARN key (Fig. 2, 7) inside the battery compartment. The indicator light will flash. If paired successfully, the fan will turn on at low speed, and the light will be off.

Functions

Refer to Figure 1.

  • Keys: (1), (2), (3). When pressed, these keys adjust the fan’s speed.
  • Key: (4). When pressed, this key turns off the fan’s motor.
  • Key (5): Press and release immediately to turn on/off the light; Press and hold to cycle light dimming.
  • Toggle switch D/CFL (6): Slide the switch according to the installed light bulb(s).
    • D – Set the light for use with incandescent bulbs; allow light to be turned on and off, as well as dimming functionality.
    • CFL – Set the light for use with compact fluorescent bulb(s) (CFL); allows only light on and off functionality.

⚠ ATTENTION: Must not be used with un-dimmable loading (CFL) when the transmitter is in D (incandescent dimming) mode. It will shorten CFL working life substantially and may damage the controller.

⚠ CAUTION: The battery will weaken with age and should be replaced before it leaks, as this will damage the transmitter. Dispose of the used battery properly. Keep the battery out of the reach of children.

Installing the wall mount bracket

For transmitter placement, locate the wall bracket in a convenient location. Use two screws to install a wall bracket on the wall. Then, hang the transmitter in it carefully, aligning the tab from the wall mount bracket to be inserted into the slot on the back of the remote (See Fig 3.).
