Thank you for purchasing the Anderic RRTX028C Ceiling Fan remote control for the Home Decorators Collection and Hampton Bay Ceiling Fans. This remote is designed as a superior upgrade to your original A25-TX028C-S ceiling fan remote control. This remote requires pairing. FCC ID: 2BLBD-FA0238

Notes

  • Open the battery compartment and locate the five dip switches.

  • Set the four upper switches to match the pattern shown on your receiver unit or your old remote.
  • Use the fifth switch (Dip 5) to toggle dimming on or off as needed.
  • Once the dip switches are aligned, the remote should operate seamlessly with your ceiling fan.
  • Make sure to install good working batteries into the remote control, matching polarities. 
  • Requires two AAA batteries, sold separately.

Pairing with the ceiling fan receiver

  1. Remove the remote control battery cover (I) by pressing firmly on the arrow and sliding the cover off.
  2. Slide the dip switches (ZZ) to your choice of either up or down. On the Anderic RRTX028CS, these switches will be labeled 1 through 4.
  3. Slide the dip switches (ZZ) to the same position as set on the remote control (I). 
  4. Replace the battery cover on the remote control (I).
  5. Insert the silicon rubber stopper (TT) into the hole on the receiver (H) to cover the dip switches.

Operation

  • The RRTX028CS remote control has buttons for 
  • Power ON/OFF: Press and release the power button to turn the fan and light on or off.
  • Fan Speeds 0,1,2,3: Pressing these keys will adjust the fan speeds to the desired speed: "0" is off, "1" is low speed, "2" is medium speed, and "3" is high speed.
  • Light ON/OFF: Press and release to turn the light on or off. Press and hold to activate the dimmer function. Note that the dimmer switch must be switched to the on position inside the battery compartment (dip 5). 
  • Correlated Color Temperature (CCT) changing: Press and release the CCT key labeled with the light bulb with the color splotches to toggle between the three light bulb temperature colors. 
    • Option 1: 2700K (Warm White)
    • Option 2: 3000K (Soft White)
    • Option 3: 5000K (Daylight)
