About the RR1220E
The Anderic RR1220E remote replaces Samsung remotes such as BN5901220E, BN5901220J, and BN5901220A. Enjoy the same functionality and control with this reliable replacement remote.
RF Connectivity: The RR1220E remote comes with a USB dongle that connects to your Samsung TV via RF (radio frequency) transmission. This means you can control your TV from anywhere within range without the need for direct line-of-sight and using the Pointer Features.
Note: the dongle must be plugged into the TV for the mouse pointer feature to work.
Warning: This remote does not operate external devices, such as Cable Boxes, STB, or Streaming Players.
Pairing Instructions
2. Plug in the provided USB receiver to one of the USB ports on the back of your Samsung TV.
3. Press and hold the "return" and "guide" buttons for at least 3 seconds until the LED indicator lights up.
4. Aim the remote at the USB receiver and wait for the LED to flash three times before turning it off.
TIP:
If you cannot pair the device, try plugging the dongle into a different USB port on the back of your Samsung TV and then repeat the steps mentioned above.
About the On-Screen Pointer:
Once the pairing process is complete, a cursor will appear on the screen and move with the remote. You can press the MOUSE key to hide the pointer and press it again to show the pointer.
Note: that if the pointer is idle for some time, it will disappear. You will need to press the MOUSE key again to reactivate it.
